DR. JASON RUEGGEBERG

CEO, Owner, and Lead Chiropractor

Dr. Jason Rueggeberg is the founder and CEO of Evans Sport and Spine Chiropractic. A native of the Augusta area, he completed his undergraduate studies at Augusta University before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta.

With a passion for problem-solving and a strong focus on sports-related medicine, Dr. Rueggeberg founded the practice over seven years ago—investing his life savings and vision into building what has become a thriving and respected clinic. His dedication to innovation, patient care, and continuous growth is the foundation of Evans Sport and Spine’s success today.

MEGAN

Office Manager

Megan joined Evans Sport and Spine in May 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in the medical field. With a strong foundation in healthcare operations and administrative management, she plays an essential role in keeping the clinic running smoothly.

As Office Manager, Megan is responsible for the daily operations of the office. Her areas of oversight include staff supervision, financial management, HIPAA and office compliance, clinic coordination, patient services, and administrative processes. She ensures that both patients and team members receive the support they need for an efficient and positive experience at the clinic.

Crystal is the Director of Laser at Evans Sport and Spine and has been a valued part of our team since February 2023. She brings over 20 years of experience from her time in the U.S. Navy, along with a strong background in massage therapy, esthetics, and the medical field as a whole. Her diverse expertise and leadership help ensure our laser therapy program delivers exceptional care with results you can trust.

Director of Shockwave Therapy

Chiropractic Assistant

Deanna has been with Evans Sport and Spine since January 2024, bringing over five years of medical experience and a deep compassion for patient care. As our Director of Shockwave Therapy, she oversees the program with expertise and dedication—managing therapy supervision and training, patient education, community outreach, and equipment operations. Deanna also serves as our Second HIPAA Compliance Officer, helping to uphold the highest standards of patient privacy and care.

Julie joined Evans Sport and Spine in March 2025 and serves as one of our dedicated Laser Technicians. With 25 years of extensive experience in veterinary care, she also leads our veterinary laser therapy services—where her passion for animal health truly shines. Whether treating people or pets, Julie brings a unique blend of expertise, compassion, and heart to every session.
