DR. JASON RUEGGEBERG
CEO, Owner, and Lead Chiropractor
Dr. Jason Rueggeberg is the founder and CEO of Evans Sport and Spine Chiropractic. A native of the Augusta area, he completed his undergraduate studies at Augusta University before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta.
With a passion for problem-solving and a strong focus on sports-related medicine, Dr. Rueggeberg founded the practice over seven years ago—investing his life savings and vision into building what has become a thriving and respected clinic. His dedication to innovation, patient care, and continuous growth is the foundation of Evans Sport and Spine’s success today.
MEGAN
Office Manager
Megan joined Evans Sport and Spine in May 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in the medical field. With a strong foundation in healthcare operations and administrative management, she plays an essential role in keeping the clinic running smoothly.
As Office Manager, Megan is responsible for the daily operations of the office. Her areas of oversight include staff supervision, financial management, HIPAA and office compliance, clinic coordination, patient services, and administrative processes. She ensures that both patients and team members receive the support they need for an efficient and positive experience at the clinic.

EMILY
Emily recently relocated to the Augusta area from her home state of Michigan. She brings with her a strong background in sales and marketing, along with a genuine passion for helping others improve their physical and mental well-being. When she's not in the office, you'll find Emily cheering on her favorite sports teams, spending time with her dogs, or discovering her next binge-worthy TV series.
ALEX
Alex brings a strong background in personal training, group fitness, and rehab to our team. She was a gymnast for nearly 10 years and earned her degree in Kinesiology from Augusta University, giving her a deep understanding of how the body moves and heals. Because of this, Alex loves playing a hands-on role in helping restore our patients’ quality of life.
When she’s not in the office, you can almost always find her in the gym!

Laura
invisa-RED Technician
Laura joins Evans Sport and Spine with over 10 years of medical experience and is excited to help our patients on their journey to better health. Born and raised right here in the Evans area, Laura has a true passion for fitness, healthy living, and nutrition. Her knowledge and enthusiasm make her an invaluable part of our team, especially as she helps guide and encourage patients through their weight loss journeys.
When she's not in the office, you can usually find her grabbing a 7 Brew coffee or spending time with her husband and their seven dogs!
LAUREN
invisa-RED Technician Lead
Lauren joins Evans Sport and Spine as a local from the Harlem, GA area, where she was born and raised. With over 15 years of medical experience, Lauren brings a wealth of knowledge, a genuine heart for helping others feel their best, and enough positive energy to brighten the entire office. Her passion for health and wellness makes her a perfect fit as our Invisa-RED Lead, where she helps patients stay motivated, confident, and supported throughout their wellness and weight loss journeys.
When she’s off the clock, you’ll likely find Lauren and her family staying active — whether they’re getting in a workout, going for a run, or finding new ways to enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle together!
